Advent 2024
Come to the Manger: Bering Church Advent Worship Series
Advent is the season when we prepare and awaken to the signs of God’s love and justice unfolding in our midst. Join us beginning December 1st as we receive the word, bear witness, and are reminded that the HOPE, PEACE, JOY, LOVE, and LIGHT of CHRIST are made known to the world in unexpected ways, and in unexpected places. IMAGINE what is possible here – at Bering Church – as we join together in worship, study, and fellowship.

An Unlikely Advent
This Advent season we’ll read through the themes of hope, love, joy, and peace by sharing the stories of Elizabeth and Zechariah, Herod, the Magi, and the shepherds. Each set of unexpected characters has something to teach about living faithfully on the journey to Christmas.
The Light We Give (Cont.)
The Light We Give lays out how we can learn to integrate ethical living to achieve personal happiness and a happier life. It speaks to those who are inspired to take on positive change but don’t know where to begin.
