After consulting with medical professionals, Bering Memorial will continue with both in-person and livestream worship with the following protocols which we ask you to observe in service to yourself and your neighbors. We are moving most other activities back to online participation for the immediate future. We will continue to work closely with the medical community to determine the need to further restrict or loosen these protocols.
REQUIRED PROTOCOLS FOR IN-PERSON WORSHIP
IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN VACCINATED
DO NOT ATTEND IN-PERSON WORSHIP
PLEASE GET VACCINATED.
Here are some vaccination resources:
IF YOU HAVE BEEN VACCINATED BUT HAVE UNDERLYING HEALTH CHALLENGES
The advice of medical professionals is that you do not attend large indoor gatherings. Therefore, for your safety, we are recommending that you worship ONLINE for the immediate future.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN VACCINATED, YOU MUST WEAR A MASK TO ATTEND IN-PERSON WORSHIP!
WHAT ABOUT OUR UNVACCINATED CHILDREN?
The medical advice is that IF YOUR CHILDREN CAN and WILL keep on a mask and wash hands, children can safely gather in small, controlled settings. Parents, use your best judgement. If your child is sick, keep them home and get them tested if they have flu or allergy-like symptoms. ALL employees, volunteers, and our nursery/childcare workers at Bering are required to be vaccinated.
IF YOU ARE AT ALL HESITANT ABOUT ATTENDING IN-PERSON WORSHIP
STAY HOME AND WORSHIP ONLINE- even if you are a worship leader or have any Sunday responsibilities. Everyone is excused from in-person Sunday responsibilities. We will offer awesome worship with whomever is available. You have your pastor’s permission to stay home and worship online if that best serves your wellbeing.
